bare ESSENTIALS
My efforts to downsize my kitchen continue. I’ve always been partial to white dishes, so color doesn’t help. I shy away from single use gadgets or trendy patterns. So, I’m left with glass containers, stainless bowls & the occasional wooden spoon. You would think that simplicity would lend a primitive look, but in fact, it makes me keenly aware of the man-made nature of each item, be it molded, cast or hand-formed. MEDIA: Photography
THEME: Elements of the built environment – structures built by humans, including but not limited to historic and modern buildings and industrial sites – can establish a sense of place in a community, and represent the tone of a culture.
DEADLINE: January 15, 2017 (midnight MCT)
NOTIFICATION: January 30, 2017

AWARDS: Photos from eligible submissions will be selected for a group exhibition in February 2017, displayed on ThePassporte.com & highlighted through social media.
