already

I have to remind my son to eat.  The food will be in front of him on the table, and he will take a bite and say, “Wow, this is great!”  Then he promptly gets distracted by something, anything really, and I find myself saying at least three times during dinner, “Oscar, don’t forget to eat.”  He will snap out of it and reply, “Oh, I forgot.”  Just to make SURE that YOU don’t forget, I am reminding you of this upcoming deadline again.  Please don’t miss this chance…

Check out this Call for Entries from Saranac Art Projects (Spokane, WA) for Prime, a juried exhibit. The entry fee can be as little as $15 and there is no commission!  This show is one I would really like to see all of you get behind. Honestly, I’m just going to keep reminding you to enter… So, please, make me proud.

CALL for ENTRIES: Lipstick and Rouge

Click to Subscribe to www.ArtAndArtDeadlines.com by Email! I SEE RED

I am a big fan of the color RED.  I wear red clothing.  I own a red Jeep.  I eat red foods.  My husband and I sing together as the Pea Pickin’ Hearts, and we sing a song called “I See Red” about throwing away the rose-colored glasses in exchange for the red-eyed passion of life–good or bad.

Check out this next Call for Entries that screams “Red” to me.  Lipstick & Rouge is the first juried show for Second Space Gallery in Spokane, Washington.  The entry fee is as low as $10 too.  I need a cupcake.
