me

If I had to choose one food to represent me as a person, I would possibly die of indecision. But, since my food ramblings are only the fluff of why readers come to this site, and you don’t have enough time to wait…let’s will say just for argument’s sake that goat cheese would represent me perfectly. This next Call offers you a chance for a year-long representation. Investigate…

Check out this Call for Entries from Melissa Wolf Fine Arts (online) for the Represent, and opportunity for a year of representation. This is a very new online venue; however, I had some personal success with their last call. So, at least take a look…

SLATE

While on vacation, I ate slate grilled baby back ribs for the first time.  Yum.  You have to get past the idea that the slate is porous and might contain other food cooties from previous usage because that is part of what makes cooking with slate fantastic.  Think of it as browning your grilled cheese in bacon grease.  Yum, again.  This next Call wants your stated inspiration.  Take a look…

Check out this Call for Entries from the Slate Valley Museum and Artful Vagabond Productions for Slate as Muse,  providing visitors with unique perspectives of slate in a variety of artistic mediums and styles.  This is a unique opportunity; be sure to investigate…
