looking for one in a MELON
I fall in love with foods, binge needlessly and then tire of them quickly. It is a pattern. I have eaten enough watermelon this summer that the very notion of it is a little nauseating. I’m off in pursuit of something new, but I’ll make my way back to watermelon by next summer. I’m often that way with galleries as well.
I become enamored of the curatorial vision of a handful of galleries for a while, then tire when it feels like I’m seeing the same Calls from them over and over again. Sometimes you need to stretch your proverbial legs, take your work for a walk, explore new territorty. While on one of those searches, I came across this theme and thought it so relevant and current to my work, that I should give it a try. I offer it to you in case it is of interest…
