Lavender infused whipped cream is a favorite treat in my house. But at the moment, I am growing lavender in a window sill for my husband’s head. The weather has been so beautiful that I’ve been leaving the doors open without benefit of screen doors, and every night mosquitoes make a meal of Jon’s forehead. Lavender is both a sleep-inducing aromatic and a mosquito repellent. So, homemade lavender-infused coconut oil is my medicinal hope for continuing to enjoy open doors.
