I am the queen of comfort food. I know that the secret to award-winning mac ‘n’ cheese is Dijon mustard. I know that a light coat of olive oil under the sauce prevent pizza crust from getting soggy while baking. I know a dust of cayenne makes the chocolate sauce on your sundae sing. But this week, my only comfort is salad. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and then vacation. I have eaten everything that won’t run from me –none of it on the light side.
