I’ve been studying food preservation, from pickling & water-bath canning to vacuum-sealing & salt-packing. I’ve run across a huge amount of admirable testing, experimentation and success amongst food-enthusiasts, homemakers, homesteaders, preppers & gardners alike. I am open to almost anything culinary at least once, but some folks are out there just purposely trying to make food, well, wrong. Koolickles. I am almost beyond words this time. Koolickles are created by soaking dill pickles in a mixture of Kool-Aid® & pickle brine. Being open doesn’t always work in my favor, but this next Call definitely does.
