of sorts
Fresh sea bass, rainbow beets & marinated mozzarella pearls. The marinade was herbed with basil from my window sill. The tartar sauce was accented by chow chow canned by my mother with cucumbers & cabbage grown this year. The only things not fresh were the olive oil, Himalayan salt & Moroccan red pepper. Is it Spring? Unfortunately not. just the day after a trip to the farmers market. In my dream world, I would live within walking distance of a fresh market so that every meal could be this wonderful.
