Even my dogs have become finicky eaters. They have always been Milk-Bone® kind of dogs. But it seems that lately they have started turning up their nose to their usual treats. I’ve tried peanut butter flavored and beef basted with no results. I already bake a lot of foods from scratch for my family, and I fear dog treats may get added to the list soon. Check out this Call for Entries for Boxed In, an exhibit that serves as a fundraiser for Sam’s Voice which helps fund Autism service dogs for families. I know you get asked to donate all of the time; so, I will break this down simply: no entry fee, cash prizes & donation of work. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists
MEDIA: Submissions must be 2D art – all mediums accepted – paintings, photography, digital art, etc. Prints will be accepted, but all works MUST be original to the artist.
DEADLINE: September 15, 2013
NOTIFICATION: None. This show is all hung.
ENTRY FEE: None; however, work must be donated for sale.
JUROR: None. All works arriving on time will be displayed for public jurying and the opportunity to win prizes!
AWARDS: Best in Show: $500, Runner Up: $250, and 3rd Place: $100.
SALES: Work must be donated. All submissions will be offered for public sale with price points between $5 – $50 (depending on size) with a portion of the proceeds (all $ beyond the costs of the show) to benefit Sam’s Voice.
