CALL for ENTRIES: Small Works at Soo Rye

Click to Subscribe to www.ArtAndArtDeadlines.com by Email!TELL ME RYE

I am a fan of bold flavors, but I’ve never developed a taste for caraway seeds also known as rye.  The one exception to my caraway seed rule is pumpernickel rye bread.  Maybe it is the earthy texture of the pumpernickel and the more practical everyday uses for bread that make it my exception.  This next Call is my second exception for acceptable rye.  This is a great holiday opportunity…

Check out this Call for Entries for the Small Works Holiday exhibit known as the Precious Show at the Soo Rye Art Gallery in Rye, New Hampshire.  This is clearly a sales-motivated exhibit, and we can all use a little holiday art sales.  Take a look…

To TOP it all OFF

I am not a fan of maraschino cherries.  But, I do understand the idea of needing that one last crowning glory on top of an already delectable treat.  It is sour cream on chili.  It is a squeeze of lime on grilled tilapia.  It is a solo art show on top of an exemplary year of group shows.  I completely get it… completely.  This Call is a great chance to top of your sundae of group shows with a cherry of a solo show.  Take a look…

I don’t own a kitchen timer. The end result of that oversight is over-baked brownies, extra-crunchy crostini, dried-out lasagna and the more-than-occasional burned frozen pizza… not to mention the frantic run to the oven while muttering explicatives after realizing that I am too late to save tonight’s dinner. Don’t wait and then be too late to enter this next show opportunity in Los Angeles.

Check out this Call for Entries from Studio 5216 for Distorted, a Group Show. The entry fee is low, but the deadline is just around the corner. Don’t delay your entry.
