My husband is a string bean. He is six feet tall and has spent most of the past 15 years struggling to hang on to 145 lbs all while consuming every meal as though it were it last. Yes, it IS annoying. But, changes in the fat & protein content in our diet over the past year have resulted in his gaining about 10 lbs and a pant size. I’m tickled. The narrative of the artist’s work should portray the human figure in its quiet beauty, flexibility, energy of action, strength or frailness. The work can express any aspect of the human form from the beauty of youth or aging process, subtle emotional gestures, the figures external or inner beauty.

DEADLINE: July 10, 2014
ENTRY FEE: 1 Entry for $15, up to 3 entries for $30, up to 5 entries for $60
AWARDS:
1st Place: $500 in cash & $5,200 in prizes
2nd Place: $125 in cash & $1,625 in prizes
3rd Place: $75 in cash & $125 prizes
4th Place: $50 in cash
The 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th place winner’s art will be featured in Art-Competition.net “Winners Showcase” with links to their websites.
The 10 Honorable Mentions artwork will also be displayed in the “Honorable Mentions” section of the Art Competition website. All entries will be displayed on our Art-Competition website Submissions Showcase page in the order that the submissions are received.
