CALL for SUBMISSIONS: Pop Up Billboard Exhibit

I get lots of requests for restaurant recommendations.  And, I think sometimes people are disappointed when I give them the stereotypical answers, but famous places are famous for a reason.  For example, I would never visit New Orleans without a trip to the Cafe du Monde for beignets and cafe au lait or to Central Grocery for a muffuletta.  If you “pop-in” to this next show opening, make sure to check out my favorites.  Is it lunch yet?

Check out this Call for Submissions from Art Below for the Pop-Up Billboard Exhibit and Gallery Orange co-exhibit in New Orleans.  The fees are huge, but you can’t ask for better exposure.  Take a look…

My non-art related work place is The Lodge at Buckberry Creek, a resort in the Great Smoky Mountains patterned after the Great Camps of the Adirondacks in upstate New York. The Lodge is a 4-Diamond resort and home to the only fine dining in Gatlinburg. So for me, the idea of the Adirondacks conjures images of hand-oiled leather couches, animal hide rugs, wood-burning fires and warm mulled cider. CAFFEINE…
with a pinch

Sometimes it takes just a pinch of an ingredient to make a dish complete.  Have you ever tasted something delectable and said, “What IS that flavor?”  I have theories of my own including nutmeg in diet Coke.  But not all special ingredients are a secret.  Pesto requires basil, but I prefer walnuts to pine nuts, and an art career requires publication…and a website.  If you have a website, this could be the nutmeg in your diet Coke.  If you don’t have a website, here’s another reason to invest…

Check out this Opportunity from ArtistADay.com to be a Featured Artist!  There is no entry fee, membership is free, and you could win a feature post with links back to your website, but you have to have a website.  And no, they don’t sell website service, ha.  You’ve got nothing to lose…
