ELIGIBILITY:
Open to all artists18+

MEDIA:  Any visual media that reflects the artist’s view of nature, the environment, or reflect an Earth Day related theme.

DEADLINE:  Postmarked February 18, 2014

NOTIFICATION:  March 14, 2014

ENTRY FEE:  $25 for up to 2, $10 ea. add’l for a maximum of 4

Learn more from the Berkeley Arts Council!JUROR:  Lauren Schell Dickens is assistant curator of contemporary art at the Corcoran Gallery of Art.  Exhibitions include How is the World: Recent Acquisitions of Contemporary Photography, and Roots and Links: Gifts from the Women’s Committee of the Corcoran Gallery of Art.

Dickens has previously held curatorial posts at the Jewish Museum in New York, the Guggenheim Museum and the Dallas Museum of Art.  Dickens holds degrees from Yale University and Columbia University.

AWARDS:  Best in Show $250. Minimum prize fund $600.

SALES:  The Berkeley Arts Council will retain a 30% commission on all sales. Works may not be removed during the exhibition.
