THAI tofu
I was out having Thai food for lunch with a friend lately. I ordered massaman curry with shrimp; she ordered green curry with tofu. I will never understand. I said, “Tofu?”, and she replied, “of course, it is my favorite”. Seriously? I am certain there are a lot of people who appreciate tofu as a vegetarian-friendly protein that will take on the flavors of other foods. But she looked me in the face and said, “it is my favorite”. NO. It isn’t really anyone’s favorite, is it? I was looking at the face of deprivation, right? Someone explain tofu to me. Again. Please. This next Call wants to see the Face of Humanity, not necessarily of a tofu lover (assuming those really exist, ha). Investigate this opportunity…
Check out this Call for Entries from Art-Competition.net for Faces of Humanity. $25 entry & no shipping. The media is pretty wide open too. Take a look…
