ELIGIBILITY: All artists age 18+ (int’l)
MEDIA: Open to still media, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital art, printmaking, fiber art, collage, etc.
THEME: Abstract Art “The submitted artwork can be of any subject that is communicated in the power of abstraction. The composition elements of the work must rely on form, color, action, lines, marks, and texture to create a purely abstract work that engages the viewer and draws them into the intention of the artist’s work.” –art-competition.net
DEADLINE: September 12, 2017
NOTIFICATION: September 27, 2017
ENTRY FEE: $25 for up to 3, $5 ea. add’l
AWARDS: 20 artists will be selected for an online group exhibit, “Shades of Green” at Gallery25N; the exhibit and artists will be extensively marketed worldwide to over 24,000 people including art buyers, gallery owners, curators, collectors, etc. One of the exhibiting artists will receive the “Curator’s Art Prize”, a $500 grant, and their work will become the image of the exhibition and will be used on the invitation, video title screen and on all online marketing.
