FOOD rewards
Today I had a view of 7 U.S. States (Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama) during lunch at Cafe 7, high atop Lookout Mountain. I navigated the short climb through Rock City up to Lover’s Leap and took the obligatory selfie with my husband before being seated at the last available table for late lunch. After a weekend of hard work on the road, I felt a sense of culinary karmic justice when my fried green tomato sandwich arrived at my table topped with Benton’s bacon, avocado puree & chipotle mayonnaise. ENTRY FEE: There is an application review fee of $25 for up to 5.
AWARDS: If selected as the winner, the award recipient must exchange one original work or smaller series of original works for inclusion into a collection, in return for the $1000 award. Work considered by the artist as of equal value, and available for acquisition can be negotiated upon receipt of the award. Shipping costs will be paid by workingartist.org.
