I made a little party mix as finger food for my teenager yesterday. It is his favorite snack, and I’m a sucker for the “please” of it all. The reviews are in and while I got I got bonus points for substituting cayenne for garlic, apparently not including cashews is unforgivable. Who knew something so small would make such a difference? JUROR: Bill Carroll, Director of the Studio Program of the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, has been involved with the NY art world for more than 25 years. Bill has curated numerous exhibitions with artists such as Mary Heilmann, Jonathan Lasker, Ken Price, Chris Martin, Marilyn Minter and Juan Usle. He received his BFA is from Pratt Institute, and completed his MFA at Queens College. He has consulted for private clients, worked as the Grants Administrator for the Nancy Graves Foundation and has lectured at NYFA, Bard College, Cranbrook Academy of Art, NYU, Pratt Institute, and SVA. Recently he has been exhibiting his own paintings and was reviewed in Art in America.
