I hear the words, “the food landscape is changing” with ridiculous frequency amongst my foodie friends. I want to believe it is just that sunny optimism that I seek out in others, not naivete, that makes them spout this feel-good mantra. I believe in locally-sourced, sustainably-farmed, whole foods. And given an affordable option, I believe most people would agree. But, have you seen/heard the commercial wherein MONSANTO says they want you to “be a part of the conversation”? You know, the company that brought you Agent Orange, PCBs, aspartame, bovine growth hormone. Be afraid of THAT landscape. This next Landscape, however, is of a delightful variety–to be LOVED.
