I’ve just gotten used to not being cold, and recipe sites are already touting Fall foods like acorn squash. Cut it out. We’ve all learned to live with the sales of holiday-themed items a full two to three months BEFORE the holiday. But, I refuse to start buying winter foods during the bounty of Summer. Why would I give up a beautiful zucchini blossom for cinnamon-laden, pumpkin-flavored everything? I simply will not give in on food. Island Art Fair
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists. Please note, you have to install your own work in New York in late August and uninstall in September.

NOTIFICATION: No later than July 31, 2015
ENTRY FEE: Aside from the $35 application fee and any personal costs incurred in transporting, installing & de-installing the show, there are no other required fees due from independent artists.
AWARDS: “Once selected by the 4heads jury, your exhibition space is free. The entire massive event is free to the general public. And as an emerging or established artist, you are free to present your work, your way, at this acclaimed independent art fair in New York City.
“Because 4heads works hard to keep artists’ costs to a bare minimum, gallery scouts, journalists and collectors know that this is where to find the freshest talent, and they come back every year to see what’s been discovered.
