Canvas Artist Series Label Contest
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all full time college students, age 18+ that are also US residents. Click here for full details.
MEDIA: 2-dimensional form of visual art, which may include, but is not limited to, paint on canvas, graphic illustrations, watercolor, charcoal, ink or pencil. Artwork in the form of photography and art in three- (3-) dimensional or non-visual form, such as sculptures, will not be accepted. Work must creatively depict the varietal characteristics of one (1) of the Canvas Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay or Merlot. (i.e. cedar, tobacco, rich dark fruit, and hints of oak and spice for Cabernet Sauvignon; pure fruit and toasty oak for Chardonnay; or pure fruit, toasty spice and rich, ripe tannins for Merlot). Original Artwork must be 24 inches wide by 20 inches tall (24″x20″).

ENTRY FEE: None
JUROR: The Grand Prize Winner will be determined based on the following criteria: a. On-line popular vote (20%) b. Originality of Finalist’s Artwork creative interpretation of the Varietal Characteristic of one (1) of the Canvas Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay or Merlot (50%); and c. Originality and appeal of his or her written description of his or her Artwork inspiration and career aspirations of why Finalist would like to be an artist as described in the Essays (30%).
AWARDS: 1 Grand Prize will be awarded to each Varietal Category, subject to verification, for a total of three (3) Grand Prizes. The Grand Prize will consist solely of a $5,000 academic scholarship to be used for school tuition and the opportunity to have their artwork featured on a special bottling of Canvas wines in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
