KRAFTY KRAB
Be wary of free food. I get invited to lots of business receptions and charity auctions. The food isn’t terrible, just forgettable. Forgettable food is simply a waste of time. Don’t you have something better to do (or eat) than another Krab dip (the K is always the give away) or cheese ball? Me too. Here’s hoping the reception for this next Call results in better reception food. Fingers crossed…

Postcard Sized Art
The Art Gallery at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado is pleased to issue a Call for Artist participation in an invitational exhibition.
ELIGIBILITY: Artists from around the world are invited to participate.
MEDIA: Any media as long as each artwork is postcard sized at 4×6 or 6×4 inches, unframed and light enough to be hung with T-pins (gallery walls are carpeted). All artwork submitted must be available for the duration of the show.
DEADLINE: February 12, 2012
NOTIFICATION: All hung exhibit
ENTRY FEE: None
SALES: All of the postcard-sized artworks will be for sale to the public at $20 each to benefit the Art Department Legacy Campaign at Colorado Mesa University to establish a permanent endowment for the Art Department. This endowment will be established for the purpose of supporting a variety of Art Department programs including visiting artists, exhibitions, equipment purchases and other events that directly support the efforts of the Art Department at Colorado Mesa University to educate their student body.
