BAHK BAHK
Farm fresh eggs make me happy the same way daisies make others smile. The only thing close to farm fresh is a Grade AA (found in upscale restaurants and better grocery stores). Most of us eat Grade A eggs from the grocery store with flatish, lemony-yellow yolks, but a fresh egg typically has a bright golden yolk that stands tall when cracked. Years ago, when my husband owned a hot dog shop called the Dog & Cow, he used to trade left over hot dogs (used as chicken feed) for fresh eggs. The eggs had the wonderful aroma of garlic from gourmet hot dogs. We KNEW what we were eating, ha. The gallery in this Call also makes me happy with it’s sort of blatant in-your-face optimism and simplicity. Take a look…
Check out this Call for Entries from Flow Art Space (Minneapolis, MN) for The Original Show. This is a fairly new space full of optimism and good will for artists. Maybe this is a show for you…
