I spent just enough time in culinary school to discover that I did not want to be a chef. The hours on my feet were going to be too late, and my chances of being a world-renowned chef that only worked days were even more remote. I opted for the t-shirt instead. Funny enough, my experience as a gallery owner was not altogether different– lots of work and lots of late night hours. My hats are off to both Chefs and Gallery Owners. The Gallore Gallery is a 1000sq ft contemporary storefront set in the heart of Middletown, Connecticut’s busy downtown restaurant & shopping district.
Complete with well lit parking, ample parking is convieniently located directly across the street from the Gallore Gallery.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to artists worldwide ages 18 or older.

May 31, 2011
NOTIFICATION: Via telephone or email on or before June 6th 2011
ENTRY FEE: For submitted works to be considered there is a minimum $35 Submission Fee for 3 images and $45 for up to 8 images.
AWARDS: All selected winner(s) will recieve their Essie Art Award, Gallery Representation for one full year, and be the exclusively featured artist in the Summer Showcase. The Winner(s) and Selectee(s) names will be posted on their website and will be invited to participate in their International Group Exhibition.
