BLUE & GREEN
We know that some of the best things come in tiny sizes… from the blue boxes of Tiffany’s to the most delicate of green micro vegetables. Art is no departure. While I love to work on huge canvases, I also appreciate the immediacy of working on a smaller scale.
Check out the Call for Entries brought to you from the Red Tree Coffee Shop and Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio. How gorgeous is this place? Unbelievable. On top of being gorgeous, they are offering you the opportunity to enter A Small Glimpse: life from the perspective of artists all over the world featuring work 5″x5″ or smaller.
Call for Entries: A Small Glimpse
Theme & Eligibility: All artwork must be NO larger than 5 inches by 5 inches (including any framing used). Medium included but not limited to paintings, photography, sculpture, fiber art, mixed media, etc.
Artist must be at least eighteen years old or older and may be living anywhere in the World. All artwork must have been created by you within the last three years and not have been exhibited previously at Redtree Gallery and Coffee Shop. Work must be ready to install.
Submissions: A non-refundable fee of $20 USD for 1-3 piecesor $35 USD for 4-9 pieces must be submitted with artwork. If paying with a check please make it out to Redtree.

Mailed artwork must include an envelope/container for return shipping, with return postage and mailing labels included. Container must be adequate for return shipping.
Notification: Artists will be notified of jury results by email (please make sure this is printed clearly on your form. If you do not have email, they will call you) no later than Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Hand-delivered artwork not selected may be picked up Tuesday, November 2 or Wednesday, November 3, 2010 anytime between 7am-6pm. Mailed work that is not accepted will be returned to the artist the following week.
Liability: Each work is insured to a reasonable amount while turned over to the care of Redtree. Artists are responsible for insuring work while in transit. Artist are also responsible for providing work that is sturdy and durable for hanging purposes.
Photography: Redtree reserves the right to photograph works for publicity and record. Entering your art work in the competition shall indicate agreement with all of these terms and conditions.
