A GOOD EGG
We all know that I love food, but it occured to me that I don’t mention that I love cooks and chefs often enough. There is little better in this world than a well crafted Eggs Benedict. And, while the eggs are best when farm fresh, hollandaise in the wrong hands is just BAD regardless of how fresh the eggs are. I feel much the same about craft artisans.
A scarf isn’t always just a scarf…ask Pat K. Thomas. And certainly, jewelry isn’t always just jewelry…ask Vanessa Walilko. 17th Annual Juried Wearable Art Show and Sale
The RAGS 2011 event will take place March 10-13, 2011, at Mercedez-Benz of Tacoma.
MEDIA & ELIGIBILITY: Open to artists working in wearable art–garments, fashion accessories, & jewelry.
DEADLINE: Postmarked by December 17, 2010
ENTRY FEES: Two entry types:
- Gallery $15: with awards competition, is a show of unique, one-of-a-kind, wearable art with competitive divisions for garments, jewelry, and accessories. The Gallery items must be designed and produced solely by the artist.
- Marketplace $35: a boutique-style sale of wearable art. All works entered in this division must be priced for sale by the artist.
